Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use CabinetOS at cabinetos.co.uk and related services.
Last updated: 29 April 2026
1. Who we are
CabinetOS (“we”, “us”) provides browser-based software for cabinet makers and related trades. The service is operated from the United Kingdom. Your contract is with the operator of CabinetOS as identified on invoices and sign-up flows.
2. The service
CabinetOS offers tools such as project and unit configuration, cutlists, sheet optimisation, exports, and related features, as described on our website at the time you use them. We may add, change, or withdraw features to improve the product or comply with law.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at Contact if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
Paid plans, trials, limits, and renewals are described at Pricing. Fees are charged in the currency and via the payment method shown at checkout (for example through Stripe). Taxes may apply where required.
You may cancel according to the options shown in your account or billing portal. Unless required otherwise by law, fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where we specify at purchase.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service unlawfully or to harm others;
- attempt to break security, overload systems, or scrape bulk data without permission;
- reverse engineer the service except where the law allows;
- use the service to build a competing product by automated extraction of our UI or data;
- upload malware or content you do not have rights to use.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated breaches.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of projects, uploads, and data you enter. You grant us a licence to host, process, and display that content only as needed to run the service and as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Accuracy and workshop reliance
CabinetOS helps with measurements and outputs, but you remain responsible for checking dimensions, materials, machine settings, and site conditions before cutting. The service is provided as a professional tool, not a substitute for your own verification on the job.
8. Intellectual property
We own the CabinetOS name, branding, software, and documentation. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the service under these terms. You must not copy our proprietary materials except as allowed for normal use.
9. Third parties
The service may link to or integrate with third-party services (for example hosting, payments, or email). Their terms and privacy policies apply to what you do with them.
10. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Subject to the previous paragraph, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including lost profits, data loss beyond our reasonable control, or business interruption). Our total liability arising out of these terms or the service in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period, or £50, whichever is greater, if you only used free features.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach, risk, non-payment, or if we discontinue the service with reasonable notice where practicable.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and adjust the “Last updated” date. For material changes we may also email you or show an in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance where the law allows.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless you are a consumer with non-waivable rights elsewhere.
14. Contact
