CabinetOS

Know your account before your first real job.

Five things worth knowing before you start on a real job: what your plan counts, what uses up an export, how to switch between English and Polish, how to make everything bigger in the workshop, and how your phone and computer share one account. The demo on this page is on the Studio plan, so you can try each one.

At the end you'll have

  • Where to see how many projects and exports you have left
  • What uses an export, and what's free
  • The app in English or Polish, with the text the size you want
  1. Step 1

    See your plan

At the bottom of the menu is a bar with your plan and two counts: projects, and exports this month. On a phone, tap ☰ first. Tap the bar to open it: each count gets a bar of its own that turns amber as you near the limit, and Upgrade sits beside the plan's name. The demo is on Studio: 30 projects and 120 exports a month. Over your project limit, nothing is deleted: the projects you changed most recently stay open and the rest become read-only.

    1. Your plan.
    2. Projects: how many you have, and how many your plan allows.
    3. Exports this month, and how many your plan allows.
  2. Step 2

    Know what uses an export

Looking at a document on Exports is free, as often as you like. Printing it, downloading it (PDF, Excel or CSV) or sharing it as a PDF uses one export. Tap Export and then Print cutlist: the count in your plan goes up to 1. Here the printout stays in the demo, but the count still moves. Exports start again from 0 on the 1st of each month. In a busy month, top-ups give you more without changing plan: Settings, Billing.

    1. The document: free to look at, as often as you like.
    2. Export: print, download or share it, one export each time.
  3. Step 3

    English or Polish

The two flags in the top bar switch the whole app between English and Polish at once: every screen, the documents you print and the emails we send you. Your choice is saved to your account, so your other devices follow it. Tap the other flag now and back again.

    1. The flags: tap the other one.
    2. The whole app switches at once, the menu included.
  4. Step 4

    Bigger text for the workshop

A+ makes everything bigger, the drawings included; A− makes it smaller again. It's kept on each device, so the phone in your pocket can be bigger than the computer in the office. A phone goes up to Large, so nothing runs off the side of the screen; a computer goes further.

    1. A+: everything bigger.
    2. A−: back to the size you had.
  5. Step 5

One account on your phone and computer

Sign in with the same email on your phone and your computer. Your projects are saved to your account and come down on the other one, and the copy on each device keeps working without a signal. If the same project was changed on both, the newer change wins and the other is kept as a separate project with “(other version)” after its name, so nothing is lost. On a phone the menu sits along the bottom, and on Build a second bar above it jumps between the parts of the page.

    1. Saved: the project is on your account, ready on your other devices.
    2. The menu: down the side on a computer, along the bottom on a phone.
